Federico Reparaz is a photographer who works on fashion campaigns with brands like Adolfo Dominguez and Zara. He also collaborates with magazines including Vogue, AD and Harper’s Bazaar, among others.

To create the logotype, we used the typography Univers and then adjusted it to Federico Reparaz’s name. Some characters were slightly modified and changed to form the logotype. The objective was to create a simple brand that would function as the photographer’s signature without taking on special protagonism.

In order to give the brand or photographer’s signature a distinctive look, the main information and logotype were applied in capitals, creating a block. In this way, the logotype and the visual identity are reinforced in a simple way, without the use of any icon or graphics. Any applications would be printed on a special gray paper to soften the contrast and make the most of the idea of the brand as a “signature”

The visual identity also included the photographer’s website and portfolio. The objective was to demonstrate his work in a simple and straightforward way. The typography Circular was used to reinforce the typography Univers, and soften the look of the digital portfolio. The result was the creation of a careful and simple web with a simple structure that comes together to make the most of its personal nature.
